The newest, prettiest, largest on the block

Speaking of the holidays. My husband, and how I do love that man, he is a money spending machine. Seriously. They say women are bad with money? They’ve never met my husband. Two years ago (could be three, I try to block out when we spend huge chunks of money) we bought a really big flat screen televisions set. We sold the old monstrosity that used to take up six square feet in the family room and we bought the slimmer version. Well, now my husband believes we need, (his words: need) a newer, larger, prettier television and he has been looking at Sony lcd tvs because apparently the LCD is the thing to have now. Like I even have time to watch TV for the next three years.

The Holidays. They're sneaking up on me

It’s sad to admit really, but I have been thinking about the holidays lately. First because I take my final exams the first week of December, which is kind of a shopping buzz-kill if you ask me. Secondly because my two weeks of reading period (before the final exams) occurs starting the week of Thanksgiving (another holiday buzz-kill). What this all means, to me at least, is that I have to get a jump start on my holiday photo cards if I am going to send them this year. And that sucks. Because I did not send them last year so I really wanted to send them this year. And now, I just don’t know if I can swing it.

PS: yes, in my second week of school I’m already thinking about Christmas cards.

I need a few co-authors. Flexible hours. Great pay (if you consider great pay to be seeing your name right under the blog post you just published).

Now that I'm in law school, I just don't have the time to devote until I find my groove. I'd like a few interested people to please email me with your name and blog/twitter/facebook address and let me know if you can commit to reviewing products here at least once a week. And by reviewing products, I mean products you've purchased and are willing to share with other readers.

Grilling sounds pretty tasty right now

So years ago I was looking at electric grills for camping and boating and whatnot. I ended up buying one for my husband. It turned out we use it more around the house than we did on trips. It was easier to sit on a table and grill a few burgers or even steaks than it was to fire up the old gas grill, clean it off, cook the food, clean it again, watch for the smoke so it didn’t come into the house and gag us all. The electric grill was much easier. We used it for our block party and for impromptu gatherings with neighbors.
