Years and years ago I worked with a woman who did not name her children until after they were born. Her kids actually came home from the hospital named baby Lastname. Both of them. I thought it was weird, but hey, to each his or her own. Right?
Personally, I had names for my kids picked before they were born. I went through each and every name in the baby name book, because well, I had a lot of time on my hands. Both pregnancies left me on bed rest the last month. It's too bad there was no website like the the babynametrain back then. My search could have been so much more thorough. And worldly.
When I picked my baby names, I had two, in case one just did not fit the baby's personality, or in case there was a second baby who'd been hiding in there all that time. I also had a back up boy name in case the ultrasound was horribly wrong.
Now days, my kids are half grown. But I miss picking baby names. The choices are so much more diverse now. It almost makes me jealous. Almost.

flipflop wines - in white
The below mentioned products were given to me at no charge for review. I am not being monetarily paid for this review (other than receipt of the free product). I will give my honest opinion and thoughts regarding said products.
You may recall a while back I reviewed the flipflop wine line of reds. I admit that my relationship with red wine is still developing. However, my relationship with white wine goes back many years.
There is nothing I could state here that I did not already say in my prior post. The three white wines I tried were the Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Riesling. I loved them all. I should admit a small bias here (and don't tell Stephen) but I was accepted into law school and I'll be honest. I've stressed myself out about it. So these wines, well, they were timed perfectly. My neighbor and I drank one bottle when I dropped the $877+ for my law books for THE FIRST SEMESTER. And we drank another bottle tonight since law school starts TOMORROW.
Deep Breath. Deep, deep breaths.
Okay, moving on. I do want to remind everyone that the flipflop lines were designed to be great tasting and affordable, even for us starving students. I love the screw top because I can have a glass of wine and another glass later and not lose flavor (or dig for the cork because I pushed it in too far). Finally, I love that flipflop wines has partnered up with Soles4Souls to help them achieve their goal of gathering 11 million pairs of shoes in 2011 for children and adults in need. Smart Phones - I'm an addict
In this day and age, I’m always surprised when I meet people who don’t have a cell phone, let alone a smart phone htc at their fingertips. While I’d be lying if I didn’t admit I miss the days of free time actually being free (of phones, electronics, screaming children, etc.) I would also be lying if I said I could live without my phone. I use it for too much to just stop using it one day. If the cell phone world ended tomorrow, I might actually need a rehab facility.
