In real life
I have to stop trolling the interets now and go do my homework. And my laundry. And feed my dogs. And go grocery shopping.
Pretending
One of the places on
my list of future vacation sites is North Carolina. I’ve always thought it would be a lovely
place to live. And when I start thinking
of stuff like that I start looking at houses and jobs in the market and the
costs of living and stuff like utilities and health care coverage, such as blue
advantage of North Carolina and then I remember why moving is
expensive and why vacations are perfect.
Because you get to pretend to live somewhere, without all that extra
cost of relocation and mostly thought, because you get to go home if you don’t
like it.
Real Life Shopping
My nephew the future rock star is looking at new peavey bass guitars at Musicians Friend because a few of his guitars were recently stolen. I’ll admit it, I don’t know the first thing about what guitar is the best or worst, but I do know that I had my nephew help me when I was buying a guitar for my youngest daughter the music whiz. She loves it and I love him because he is always available to help me (well, and because he is my nephew so I love him anyway).
Daydreaming and Fantasy Shopping
I like to look at wedding rings. Mine wedding band is a classic, anniversary band style with eight small diamonds and my engagement ring is the same band with a nice sized marquee diamond in the middle. And while I love my ring, and lord knows it took us long enough to find it all those years go, I do enjoy looking at the new styles and bands that are out. Surprisingly, Reeds sells Scott Kay wedding bands which I did not know. Now I have another place to look and daydream about all that bling.
