Gift Giving Ideas - Jewlery

Here we are in the holiday season. Again. And there are so many gift ideas running through my head I cannot keep them all straight. For the teenage daughters, this year I am springing for a whole bunch of cheap jewelry wholesale because that stuff appears to be in this year. So far, every outfit they’ve purchased for themselves this year includes some jewelry of some sort. So, in my mind, I cannot go wrong. Plus, if I wrapped everything I bought separately, it is going to look like Mrs. Santa spent a whole lot more money this year than maybe she really did.

Gift Wrap Ideas - Get Creative

With the holidays fast approaching, my mind is already in gift giving mode. I also want my gifts to be memorable, as well as non-traditional looking. That is why I love finding various ways to wrap and/or package a gift. I recently found a burlap gift bag that will be perfect for packaging the various Christmas candies my family makes each year. These bags are also perfect for small clothing items and “gift bags” full of fun stuff such as body wash, lotion, etc. I cannot wait to go shopping!

Working on Keeping Costs Down

I take more, different types of medicine now that I did during my 30s. This is on top of my daily vitamins, eating right and cutting out most fried foods. It’s not that I’m unhealthy, but my allergies are killing me and I take three different prescriptions for that. The thing that amazes me is the cost of medicine, even with the insurance I have (which is really good because luckily, the husband is a State employee and I have coverage through my job). Regardless, the cost of meds just keeps going up and I know some people who have taken to finding their meds, like generic Lipitor online to try and save a few dollars. I don’t really blame them.
