Stuffs

I read a book and I'm going to review it.  As soon as these school projects are caught up.

I drove a new car for a month while mine was in the shop and I'm going to review it. As soon as these school projects are caught up.

I took my car to a body shop and they had my car for six weeks and I'm going to review them.  As soon as these school projects are caught up.

I made a new recipe and it sucked. I'm not going to review that.

CV Joints and other stuff I've fixed

I had a car once that I swear I was fixing something on it weekly. Once, I even had to change the CV Joints and luckily for me, my dad was there to help. Another time I had to change a water pump, then the thermostat and then shocks, and finally, after a few years, the whole motor blew and I changed that out too. Well, I didn’t do it alone, my dad and brothers did most of the work.

Now that I think about it, I was quite the fixer chick back when I was in my late teens, early twenties. Today, I’m not sure I could even identify the CV Joints on my car. And where did carburetors go? Everything is new and different looking and much more complicated and cramped. And I suppose that it okay, because back in my day of fixing my own cars, I also worked for my uncle’s Truck and Fabrication shop and had all the tools and space I might need at my disposal. Now days, I wouldn’t even know where to find a Metal Fabrication shop.

Cheap Postcards and Making Someone's Day

I like postcards. I really like cheap postcards and when I find them, and they’re good, I buy lots of them. And when I can order them custom?! Even better!

Because even though snail mail isn’t something that we, as a society do much anymore, I still send my kids a postcard now and then.  And I send them to my nieces and nephews. Because sometimes, it is pretty cool to get your own mail. And other times, it is just nice to know someone wanted to send you a note that said you are awesome. Or one that said ”Hey! I heard you wrecked your car. Should we call you Crash now?” (Okay, I only sent that once, but it made my nephew smile and it made his dad laugh).

Aviom -now you know what I know

I was recently watching a television award show and every artist was wearing an in-ear monitoring devise and that got me curious about such equipment and my search lead me to Aviom and I learned that Aviom is a huge manufacturer of personal monitoring systems that are used for live as well as broadcast and recording studios, inside theaters and schools and include the use of state monitoring and headphone monitoring. I was simply amazed at the plethora of products and their uses and where one would go about purchasing Aviom at gc and a whole bunch of other information that I have no personal use for, so I’m sharing it with all of you because that’s what I do, I give.
