Canada is on my list of places to visit before I die. I really want to see many places in Canada but I don’t have the first clue on where to even begin. I decided Calgary, Alberta was a good starting place from which we could move on to Edmonton and Vancouver perhaps. The family and I are planning a cruise up to British Columbia but that is a couple of years down the road and we will be quite limited in what we get to see while we are there.
I suppose if we were to find rentals in Calgary we could then travel to surrounding areas without the need for getting hotels and the like. Of course, we want to stay at least a month (if not two) when we go so a rental makes perfect sense. Now I just need to do more research on the weather, the locations, the sites to see and the ease of getting around. And start saving money. Calgary is a straight shot North for us so driving would be a breeze.
